Mentoring a child is an inspirational and empowering experience! At Path To Shine®, Inc. we believe that EVERYONE has what it takes to be a great Mentor.  We offer training opportunities so that you can learn how easy it is to be an effective Mentor who can help change a child’s life.  All training sessions are 2 hours with necessary breaks provided.  Sessions are intentionally casual, so dress comfortably and feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages (just make sure to clean up after yourself).  

We also request that you bring $10 to cover the cost of your criminal background check. We are able to accept cash or check at this time.  If this poses any financial burden to you, please go ahead and register for a training session that works for you and then email us directly at info@pathtoshine.org letting us know that the background check fee is burdensome. 

If attending via Zoom, please mail your $10 background check fee via check made payable to Path To Shine Inc. We do NOT advise you to mail cash payments.

2. SELECT your desired training session from the drop-down list on the form below.

3. FILL IN the remainder of the form below (this allows us to stay connected with our Mentors–it’s important that you enter the correct information on the registration form).

4. SUBMIT your information by clicking the button at the end of the form. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration form is submitted (if you do not receive an immediate confirmation email, you likely forgot to click the button at the end of the form and are NOT registered for Mentor Training).
